- Works as part of the departmental management team to achieve business goals and develop & implement strategies.

- Plans and executes plant run times to meet master production schedule.
Directs labour resources to achieve required manning levels in production areas.
- Ensures regulatory, quality and hygiene standards are maintained within the department and that necessary documentation is completed.

- Assists with the management of departmental health & safety compliance and with implementation of corrective actions.
- Facilitates problem-solving sessions to rectify production issues.
Fosters a culture of continuous improvement.

- Manages training needs and staff performance within area of responsibility.
