Main tasks:

The candidate shall be required to:

- Follow up and expedite the issuance of Bills of Material and purchase requisitions with a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

- Follow up and expedite the engineering team during the technical review of vendor’s offers.

- Follow up and expedite the issuance of the purchase orders by the procurement department.

- Review and troubleshoot vendor progress reports for ongoing purchase orders to identify potential risks of delay in material delivery and devise solutions.

- Keep track of quality inspections and ensure that inspection notifications are in line with the delivery schedule of the material and ensure that calls for inspections are passed on efficiently and timely to the involved parties.

- Identify any potential financial issues or holdups that pose a potential risk to material delivery and expedite the resolution of such issues.

- Coordinate with the logistics section for the timely shipping of material that has been inspected and released at the vendors’ facilities.

- Ensure that all the required shipping and inspection documents have been acquired by the procurement department and passed on to the respective departments to facilitate the receipt of material at the warehouse and the inspection and release of this material by the quality control department.
