Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering or Computer Science as minimum
Experience in building out-of-the-box solutions on SharePoint.
Extensive knowledge of SharePoint capabilities including Business Data Connectivity Service, Workflow, Managed Metadata Service, User Profile Service, MySites and SharePoint Search service.
Work with various business functions to identify and automate business process workflows.
Participate to develop and share best practices and work on global standards and policies .
Installing, supporting and upgrade of SharePoint and other Portal applications .
Experience automating business process workflow using SharePoint designer .
Configure site level and global taxonomies, content types, workflow, forms and search solutions.
Sound knowledge of MS SQL Server administration.
Good knowledge of Active Directory as it related to SharePoint.
·Providing day-to-day administration and global support for Microsoft SharePoint.
Install and configure SharePoint infrastructure.
Implement SharePoint data protection, backup and recovery.
Perform corrective SharePoint administration, configuration and maintenance as required.
Plan, design and implement SharePoint security including, but not limited to, authentication, security roles, user groups, audiences, and item level security.
Following strict operating processes and procedures as it relates to SharePoint operations and performance monitor and perform other admin level duties as required.
Good knowledge of SharePoint architecture.
Good knowledge of Tomcat .
Web reports, Archive server administration, content server integrations .
Knowledge and experience using SharePoint tools to develop non-code solutions including SharePoint Designer third party tools.
Microsoft certifications for SharePoint and OpenText Certification for Content Servers are preferred.
