Execute audits engagements and/or segments of significant and complex audits in accordance with audit plan or special audit assignments.
Job Duties:
o Assist in defining the scope of audits and audit programs and ensure an on-target implementation.
o Follow the protocols as provided in Internal Audit SOPs with reference to assigned audit engagements.
o Responsible for ‘Execution’ of assigned engagements (including field visits) in accordance with approved Audit Plan.
o Complete Audit Programs, procedure’s, forms and working papers for assigned audit engagements (or field visits) with complete evidence under scope of audit and discuss it with Senior Auditor.
o Organize working papers i.e., ‘Audit Programs and forms and initial audit findings for review and discussions with senior auditor or audit director.
o Reporting the ‘Progress’ of the assigned engagements/ tasks to senior auditor on daily basis.
o Prepare draft audit findings and recommendations and submit them to the Senior Auditor for review and comment.
o Review and discuss draft of ‘Internal Audit Reports’ with senior Auditor and audit director upon completion of fieldwork.
o Measure compliance of internal business processes with company policies and procedures as well as with the Saudi Arabian laws and legislations. Evaluate the effectiveness of the existing internal controls.
o Perform other related duties as assigned by the audit director.
o Participate in training workshops conducted by the audit director and the senior Auditor.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Experience:
1:2 years of experience in internal audit or external audit.
Skills
o Strong analytical ability.
o High level of communication skills
o Capable of giving strong attention to details.
o Conversant with Microsoft Office.
o Good written and oral communication skills in English.
